During the first day of our Family Day long weekend snowshoeing trip at Num-Ti-Jah Lodge, we ventured into the Bow Glacier Ice falls bowl. This photo was taken as soon as we reached the bowl and had the first glimpse at the falls. The bowl was mostly bear of snow, with only localized drifts and cornices. To reach the Ice Falls, we had to zig-zag from one patch of snow to another.
